As a frequent freeway traveller maybe you have experienced the same things as I.
How often have you seen an impatient motorist weaving in and out of the traffic, frequently changing lanes just to gain a little advantage?
Often I bet, yet on reaching your destination that very same motorist is still right beside you, rarely in front and often still behind you.
The point being that all of there weaving in and out has gained them nothing, other than probably increase their stress levels.
Yet you and I have maintained a steady pace in the same lane only changing when necessary, arriving at our destination at a similar time to “Mr Impatient”
There are similarities here to running your business, that is do you frequently change direction, lose focus, have no real goal, stress at every level and never achieve anything for your frantic efforts….
Or do you take things a little slower and realise your goals by being consistent, patient and deliberate in your actions?

Taking action
The Internet has given us all instant access to an unlimited amount of information, products and services throughout the world with the simple touch of a
key.
This in turn has opened up a whole raft of opportunities for us to explore.
The most obvious are the “Get rich schemes” and “Make money fast” promotions and programs that we are all bombarded with from every direction.
Some of the sales pitches for these programs are very well written and draw you in with claims that in most cases are unfounded but…
You decide you want a piece of the action…What now?
Firstly, resist the urge to pull out your credit card, step back and take stock for a moment.
Let me make it clear now, you can make a good income from internet marketing, but before you part with any money do yourself a favour and take some advice.
Approach the offer first using the old adage….If it looks to good to be true, then it is, RUN, RUN run as fast as you can.
A simple check system is to do a search for the product or program on Google or Yahoo….look for reviews and feedback, is it positive or negative?
Visit forums or newsgroups, post a question about the product or program, seek feedback.
Whatever you do think twice before you plonk your money down….
Your opportunity will come, but patience is needed…………
