Thought for the Day As many of you know I live in Melbourne, Australia, not Canada as a few of you thought....well right now we are in the middle of winter, yes it's fairly cold, but I am sure you will never guess the real problem we are experiencing! There are no floods, only limited snow, infrequent rain, a cold wind from time to time..........have you guessed yet? We are right in the middle of an Extreme Water Shortage, yes a water shortage in winter, doesn't make sense at all, by the way ten out of ten for anyone who guessed correctly. Right now we are on Stage 2 restrictions, that is, you cannot water your lawn or garden, wash your car or driveway etc etc. What is it with the peculiar weather patterns we are experiencing? A water shortage in winter, in the Northern Hemisphere the UK whilst in the midst of summer is experiencing unheard of record high temperatures....what is the influencing factor? We all hear comments about the ozone layer and many other technical terms that are being thrown about by the weather gurus, as being the probable cause, but do they really know? I wonder are we as individuals doing enough to protect our environment for the future? What do you think?

Taking action: Part two In our last issue we covered the opportunities the internet offers to us all....this is part two of that article. If you missed part one, go to http://www.ebusinessformula.com and follow the newsletter archive link. So... using the ideas suggested previously you have now identified a program, niche market or opportunity you want to follow, what's next. "TAKE ACTION" If you procrastinate and continue to search for that golden opportunity that is going to make you rich beyond your wildest dreams without any work you are going to be bitterly disappointed. I repeat you need to "TAKE ACTION" Put you feet in the water, start work on building your first website, write a book, prepare a newsletter, create some software, use your talent an give it a go!!! You will make mistakes, things will not go right every time, but from every experience you will learn and progressively grow. Form associations and network through forums and newsgroups that relate to your subject of interest...you will find the participants extremely helpful, remember they have all come from the very same start point as you, be prepared to share your experience as well so others can learn from you. Subscribe to newsletters put out by known and respected marketers, you can pick up an enormous amount of knowledge from these publications and the best of all it's "free". You will be amazed at how quick you can progress, but the real secret is research carefully, continue to learn, put in the hard work and then the rewards will follow. Set goals and be realistic with them, keep a daily action dairy, check off each topic as you complete it, you will find you are always adding more but provided you stick at it every day will become a little easier.
