Facebook seems to be the "hottest" thing around at present.
It's just another Social Networking site as far as I can see, does anyone see any other use for it?
Is it a potential promotion venue for your website, blog or affiliate links such as MySpace and or Squidoo have been?

| I have seen some success with it, but for the most part it is just another social networking tool. Obviously the more users that join an area the better it is for marketing. I just don't like the spam mail these sites create. |

Personally I feel that it may have a short lifespan like a number of sites before it...It's the place to be right now until another steps in and draws the crowd away.
I don't see any of these social networking sites having longevity but I could be wrong.
What do you think?
