Hi All,
I am currently working on a new product and I am seeking some feedback in regards to how you prefer the delivery of your online purchase.
If you could kindly indicate your preference on the included POLL I would appreciate it.
Cheers

If that vote for "hard copy" sounds strange with today's technology, I'll confess before you people start throwing things. It was ME, okay, it was ME, put those rotten tomatoes away!
I'm a journalist and I have to sometimes hold that book in my hands. If I download something to read, it just isn't the same to me on a screen. I need something where I can make notes in the margins if I want to, or underline/highlight things on hard copy.

Heehee - I voted "Hard copy" as well, destiny, before I even saw your post.
Maybe it's just a writer thing, but absolutely, I need to have the physical copy in my hot little hands, and it has to be bound. No loose-leaf printouts for me!
Although, audio comes a close second. Whenever I take a car trip that last longer than 30 minutes, I usually pop in an audio tape of either a fictional story, or something instructional.
Hope that helps a bit Kevin! |

I'm definitely one for not wasting paper, not just in terms of being eco-friendly, but also because heaps of paper periodically threaten to take over our house, (I don't know where all those papers, letters, etc, come from!). So downloadable reading matter that I can read at my computer is very handy - plus, it is there immediately, you don't have to wait for it to be delivered.
However ... if we are talking about an actual book, as opposed to a document, there is something to be said for an actual hardcopy of the book. For example, with textbooks, I tend to mark, highlight, and annotate a lot. Also a book is more portable. |

It seems to be a trend that hard copy is preferred, I know the above is only a small sample but I definitely prefer to be able to pick up a book or publication, curl up in my favorite chair with a coffee and enjoy.
At least I try to...sleep usually comes quickly even if the book is not boring and uninteresting!
Maybe it's just me!
Regards

Come on folks, all I need is a few more votes...
I would be a little foolish to make a determination on these numbers.
Tell your friends and fellow forum posters to vote now!!!
Cheers

| I really like to have a hard copy when I order something in addition to a download in case something goes wrong when I try to download. |
