I understand the value of a list in that you can market direct to targeted individuals but what if you don't have a list?
It takes time to build a list so are there other proven ways in which you can drive prospective purchasers to your website, blog or affiliate product?
I am aware of Forum Sig Files, Google Adwords and a few other common techniques but what works best for you?
Your comments would be appreciated.

It is harder to sell a product if you don't have a list of potential buyers. However, there are several other methods you can use to sell your products and you already mentioned 2 of them.
- Google adwords: Turns out to be very expensive for small businesses
- Blogs and forums: This works but you have to join the right forum and create or comment the right blog to get any results. Some people won't even pay attention to your links on forums.
- Myspace: I've heard a lot about advertising on myspace. Creating a profile with information about your product and friend requesting your targeted audience.
Good luck and if you find the solution for this problem let me know
Any more anyone? |

I understand that sometimes if you have a good product you wish to market you can approach other marketers, those that have a strong responsive list that is and discuss how you could mutually benefit by forming a JV.
Whilst I have read about this can anyone offer any real world experience as to how you are best to approach a potential partner and what you should be offering?
