Morning all.....I am new to the forum, and to affiliate marketing also...I have written an article and want to put my affiliate link in the name of the product I am promoting..so that people cant see that I'm an affiliate for the product..can someone tell me how to do that, in step by step terms....A am a Big Time Newbie, so I need it broke down for me...if I haven't made the question clear enough, you can pm me and we'll talk about it futher.

A package I sell has a programs called Instant [b]Affiliate Link Masker[/b], another program called [b]Affiliate Armor[/b], [b]Affiliate Defender[/b] and some other program you might want to look at. You can see the list here:

But really I can't tell you if these will help you, because I don't know where what affiliate program you are talking about. If it is a program being sold through Clickbank, you have to be careful masking URLs or you can wind up losing your commission.
One safe way of doing it is by setting up a redirect on your website. If you are on a Unix flavored server that runs Apache Server software you should be able to add a redirect to your .htaccess file.
.htaccess is a plain text file that sits in your root directory. If it was a click bank URL you might add something like this:
Redirect /myprogram http://www.yourdomain.com/?hop=nickname
