I've installed phpbb on a site that I am working on. I'm having a problem with the graphics. I've uploaded the logo graphic that I want to use, and it is working fine in Internet Explorer...but in Firefox, it is only showing a portion of the graphic. What could be causing this, and how do I fix it?
Any help is appreciated! |

Kelly,
Just a few quick questions to help me answer what is going on...
1. Is the pic the same size as the original?
2. Did you just upload it and give it the same name?
3. Did you edit the overallheader.tpl template and change the code to suit your image?
I have never used firefox before, but it may have something to do with the way it reads tables... I know that other browsers have problems... You might need to widen the column that has your logo in it.
Cheers,
Andrew
P.S. You can email me your link etc and I will have a look if you need |

Hi Kelly,
I left you a link to a forum that explains how to do this a couple of days ago on your discussion list. I thought that would answer your question. Sorry if it didn't help.
Best Regards,

Steve,
The link you gave me did help. It helped confirm that I had done everything right. But the problem still remains. I did discover that the logo appears correctly in Internet Explorer, but it is still only showing a portion of the graphic in Firefox.
As a large group of people are now using Firefox, I feel it is very important that everything appears right to them as well.
I thought it might be a problem with my personal settings for Firefox, but that can't be, because Kevin's logo (at the top of this page) looks the same to me in both browsers.
Later today, I'm going to work with this somemore, and see if I can't figure it out.
Thanks again, |

Hi Kelly,
If you PM Andrew some details I am confident he will be able to sort the issue out for you.
Andrew is my "Techie" or should I say Magician, he has helped me sort out more problems than you care to know about.
He would be happy to help.
Cheers
