I am sure their are many others like me that are still in the early stages of learning the tricks of the trade so to speak when it comes to Internet Marketing.

Is there a possibility that others here could join with me on a simple project so we could collectively learn?

I don't have specific idea in mind but maybe one of the more experienced members could suggest something?

One thing to remember is that there are definitely NO secrets to internet marketing, so don't let any scam convince you otherwise. If you do enough digging you'll be able to find all the information you want - Google is a good place to start. Wink

I agree that with enough digging you can find most info that is sold. I personally have bought eBooks and other information though for the sole purpose of saving that time. I have never really been disappointed about ebooks that I have bought. I have gained something from all of them and it has saved me hours in self search. If you have specifics on what you want to learn create a post and I would be happy to deliver free info to you if I have any knowledge on your topic.

My career on the internet started out small. I did some things on eBay to get the feel of the internet, market trends, working with people...ect.
I have gotten myself involved in a lot bigger projects since and do not use eBay other than to sell old junk. I would suggest maybe starting out there and then working your way up to selling websites or domains or even templates. These things can be very profitable.

GuRu, do you do any type of consulting to teach people how to do this? Or possibly have an e-book or site?

I have done some consulting in the past. I usually charge an hourly rate of $50. Depending on what type of info the client wants I can give them an estimate to how much time it will take me to gather and put together a report for them. I then will help them implement it. I have two steady clients right now.
