Does anyone have any experience on this topic? I have been wanting to start a membership site for sometime, but have not come up with the best of ideas. I would like to provide great information to help people. I have joined membership sites to see how others have done it, but have fallen short in my own ideas. If anyone here runs one I would like to hear about your ups and downs. Maybe I can learn what to do and what not to do!
Thanks |

| I want to start a membership site as well! I want to create a subscription based forum. I just have to put all of my thoughts down and execute it! |

Membership sites in my opinion are exceptionally good things to put together and from experience can be very fruitful in the early stages.
However the biggest issue that most membership sites face is being able to keep the sites updated with fresh and interesting content to keep the members interested.
If you can achieve this there is no reason why you cannot be successful.
Cheers

| Yeah I think it is a great idea if executed correctly. Even at $10 a month with a 100 memeber is some good profit or extra cash each month. I found some cool forum software that allows subscription based posting areas. |
