What are the best ebooks on writing ebooks?
I would like to pick up Tiffany Dow's new ebook, Building An Ebook Empire. I'm a good writer. I was a literature major in college and my English professor's would give me A's on pieces I typed up the night before. But I've been having trouble transitioning from the formal writing that I'm trained in to the more casual writing needed on the internet.
Just by reading her newsletter, I've picked up some tips to help me write with more personality, so I'd love to see what she says in this new ebook.
I'm also interested in Jimmy D. Brown's Small Report Fortunes. No need to write a 100+ page book when small reports are in hot demand.
The third book I'd like to pick up is Desperate Buyer's Only by Alexis Dawes. Her slant is on finding the hungry market and writing for them to succeed.
So, those are the three ebooks that I don't own but would like to pick up to help me with my ebook writing and selling. Does anyone have any other suggestions? |

| I'm not sure if buying "how to write an eBook" eBooks are worth it. You've got to remember that a lot of it has to do with your writing skills, so a poorly written sales page/eBook will not sell. It's really a skill that eBooks can't teach you how to properly pull it off IMO. |

I own some "how to write eBooks" ebooks and "how to write sales letters" ebooks as well. They tell you what the process of writing an ebook is and how you should search for the topic of your choice, organize your ideas, search for a niche, targeted audience, etc. They don't actually teach you any writing skills.
They suggest to write sales letters in plain everyday English, nothing fancy. |

I don't understand your concerns. Just write.
I've written a few eBooks, two that I still sell. It doesn't matter how well it is written, it matters how well it will sell... at least in my humble opinion.
I think everyone should do some proof-reading to make sure it is easy to follow, and make sure it doesn't have any typos, but other than that... do what you can and hope for the best.
