Jeez, In recent times I have heard the latest buzzwords "Bum Marketing" so many times I have lost count.
From what I can see it's just a new term describing how to use articles to promote affiliate products...am I right in this or have I got it wrong?
A clear explanation would be great...anyone help me here?
Regards

Hey Steve, You know that some of the most successful businesses in the world have been based on ideas from those that think outside of the box.
I think you might be on to something ...Move over Rosalind Gardiner Steve is coming for you with a great new concept that is going to provide you with more competition than you can imagine. LOL!
It pays to have a sense of humour in this business. LOL!
Cheers

Hi Kevin,
A sense of humor is a necessity
What the heck? I'll let the dating site site go for a couple of years to see if I get any amount of subscribers. If I do, I will think about making some money from it.

Yes, bum marketing is just another way to say article marketing for affiliate products, but Travis never claimed it to be brand new. Bum marketing has caught on for several reasons:
1. It's free. Travis makes money off of his list, but he could easily charge money for the course itself and no one would consider it a rip off.
2. It doesn't cost any money to get started. It's nice to make money online instead of losing it.
3. It's perfect for new internet marketers who don't know where to start.
4. You make money while mastering the basics.
When I got started last year, I quickly shut down due to information overload. I felt I had to build a website, create a list, and create info products all at once. Then I read the bum marketing method and realized I could do it. Within a couple of weeks of starting, I had made my first clickbank sale.
Now most of the articles I write are to promote my own products and I'm branching out now that I feel I have a better grasp of the basics.
I would suggest the bum marketing method course to anyone who is starting out (assuming that person doesn't hate writing). I hope it remains a staple and doesn't die out for the newest buzzword. |

Hi Pamela,
You make three very good comments that many newcomers could and should learn from...
1. It doesn't cost any money to get started. It's nice to make money online instead of losing it.
2. It's perfect for new internet marketers who don't know where to start.
3. You make money while mastering the basics.
Well done.
Cheers

Bum Marketing, what a fantastic name!
It conjurs up many thoughts but I suppose the real question is, have you tried it, is it successful and more importantly is it as easy as they say?
