I know that membership sites are quite popular right now, but all the membership sites I'm aware of are ones that focus on internet marketing.
I've been thinking of developing a membership site. I was wondering if people are having success with membership sites outside of marketing websites.
I don't expect others to tell me what niche they operate in. I have two books in this niche and have gotten my name out there so I'm starting to be recognized as an expert in this niche. It's mainly a hobby niche, but some do it for profit. My ebooks target the hobby market currently, but I'm thinking about structuring my membership site to the professionals. |

You can run a successful membership site relating to almost anything as long as you have an audience that is interested.
Such as, Cars, Chess, Cats, Gambling...the list is endless but the biggest handicap in running a membership is keeping the site updated with current and revelant information to keep your members.
They will not stay members and renew their subscriptions if you cannot keep the site interesting and fresh.
Cheers

| A memebership site on personal growth is huge. People are always wanting to become better persons and will pay a fee for suggestions on what books to read and what cds to listen to. Example....Tony Robbins. |
