I am interested in hearing from any of you that have had experience with Joint Ventures.
Did you institute the venture, how did you decide on your partner, or were you approached by another marketer????
Was the venture successful?, how did you promote it??
I look forward to any feedback you can offer.
Cheers

Kevin
Hello, I just joined today, and you have some great post here....I am very new to Internet Marketing and I have an idea that I would like to run by you.....Maybe you can help me with some dumb questions I have too.
For starters.....What are JV's? I have heard much about them and I kinda think they are when you get partners to help you out when starting a promotion, right? Well, how do you go about getting someone to do that? Is there a protocol for doing this?
I have a idea about helping the new people just getting into IM by getting them a website, a product and the ways to promote them both. I have the products in mind that I want to use, but I need someone to help me make it happen. How do I do that? I know that If i would have had this when I got started, it would have been a lot easier for me. Can you offer any advise or help in this area. I would appreciate it very much.
You can email me at lavondaljt@yahoo.com
thanks

Apologies for bringing this topic back up, but I think it's a really valid questions that deserves a proper discussion.
I think joint ventures/partnetships/whatever you want to call them are risky, especially when you've never actually met the person in real life. I've heard of way too many horror stories where the partner would run off with the amount the other partner had invested in the business. |

Juice,
I understand your concerns but there are many safeguards that you can put in place to eliminate the risk and protect yourself.
Many many Joint Ventures continue today, successfully where the parties have never or are even likely to meet, this not only applies online but in offline businesses as well.
As long as you practise some caution joint ventures can be ultra rewarding.
Cheers

What kind of safeguards? I'm assuming a signed contract of some sort?
The thing I'd be most concerned about (in an online joint venture) is if the partner ran off with the site's contents and/or profits. There really isn't much stopping them, is there? |
