With eBay UK, the popular searches are still PSP, ipod, and Xbox.
The PSP has been at the top for some time, and seems to be phenomenally popular.
I'm wondering about the future of music devices such as the ipod, as I'm sure people will eventually go over to listening to music on their mobiles, as is now done in Japan. |

iPods will probably be there for a long time because of the excellent pr that Apple does with iTunes... put the money behind it and you get a lot of run time!
PSP may start dropping when the PS3 comes out, tho... |

| When is the PS3 due out? Yes, I can definitely see that it will affect demand for the PSP. |

it'll be out before Christmas to get in on the hype - it'll be a media circus, that's for sure... put the furor over the Xbox to shame!
and eBay will have hundreds up, that's for sure! |

One of the things that is a little hard to keep up with is market trends, what may be very popular and successful today may be forgotten tomorrow.
I have a few URL's stacked away somewhere that provides you with fresh results as to what is popular and what is not...using this info you can get a guide as to whether the product you are selling at present is going to give you the return you want.
I will find the URL's and post them here shortly.
Regards

I would have to agree with Thumperfive. The customers desire for i-pods will continue for a while. They have made it into our american way of life. While we all have cell phones, I value having a seperate music device.
Also, don't forget that there is an image that apple has made for the i-pod. They have a great looking device, and an incredibly broad user base. |

| I'm not sure what the most popular searches are but isn't there a way to find out? |

| From what I hear the electronic items on ebay are the most popualr, but you would have expected the PS3 to be quite popular what with it being new and hard to get hold of, in England especially. |

That's an interesting point to make. I believe that Apple is going to very slowly shift the iPod range to new iPhone - there is a whole lot of new functionality put into the music playing capabilities of the iPhone, so I doubt we'll see any new iPods introduced in the near future. |
