I started as an affiliate marketer, but I've been recently moving more towards promoting my own products. I'm more excited when I sell something that I (or my husband) created. Creating our own info products has helped me focus my affiliate efforts.

At first I would promote seemingly random stuff as an affiliate, just to see what stuck. Now that I have my own products, I'm focusing on being an affiliate of products that complament my own. I have a resource section in my ebook as well as in my blog that contains affiliate links. I have a list that I can market to.

As far as being an affiliate or being a product creater, I don't think that one is better than the other one. However, jumping from affiliate program to affiliate program might be a good way to find a niche, but it's not the best way to remain in the long term.

So have you promoted your products through affiliate programs (Clickbank, MB, CJ etc.)? I've considered signing up with one to promote my eBook, but I'm not too sure if 50% of $7 would be enough to persuade publishers to advertise my product.

Juice,

Have you considered "Seven Dollar Secrets" ?

You don't have to give away all of your profits to another party.

Here's a link to follow and you will see what I mean.

Thanks for that Kevin!

I'm a little skeptical with other eBooks but this one actually looks good. I've bookmarked it and will purchase it later on.
