Here is an opportunity to keep the discussion in regards to the above all in one area Cool

What product or service is dominating discussion groups and or your email inbox at present...be it good or bad?!! Rolling Eyes

Currently the items that I have noticed that are getting the most attention are, in no particular order...

Arrow Private Label Rights...Be it for eBooks, Software and or Articles.

Arrow Google Adsense...Everyone is looking to make their fortune.

Arrow Live Teleseminars or Teleconference calls.

What are your thoughts on these items and why are they so popular at present?

Cheers Wink

Yes - I would definitely agree that Google Adsense is what a lot of people are talking about at the moment. That and e-books.

In my experience the two most promoted items that I can see at present are:

Adsense and List Building Programs.

Adsense I am trying but it is not as easy as most suggest especially for newcomers like me, you need traffic to your site to get clicks and as my site is very new traffic is also very light but I am working on developing this.

As for List Building, I acknowledge that every man and his dog say's that the money's in your list but my question is, who do you believe?
In recent times about five different programs have dropped into my inbox all touting that they have the "secret" to building lists superfast but I am not so sure.

Any feedback that you could offer maybe relating your experience would be appreciated.

Regards

What is a list building program?

As for Adsense - yes, if you don't get traffic your revenue from Adsense will be just a few cents. My blog does not get a great deal of traffic, because it is just a minority interest thing (a photoblog of my home town). I have an idea for a site that might get considerably more traffic, though. It's just a case of researching and writing the content.

In response to your question regarding List Building.

The oft heard phrase amongst the marketing gurus on the internet is the Money is in your List.

What this means is simple, if you intend on marketing online you must actively promote yourself by providing a newsletter or other service where the sole purpose is to get visitors to sign up with their email address giving you the authority to contact them in the future with other offers.

Some big name marketers have thousands of subscribers, commonly known as their list.

Many marketers at present are promoting the methods and programs they use to encourage people to sign up to their list.

As an example you will see my Newsletter sign up box in the top right hand corner of this webpage.

Hi Telegraph,

If you do a search here on the forum and at two of Kevin's other sites you will find all you need to know about list building.

I have to agree that Adsense is a very hot topic right now. While I haven't done sites with, I friends that have.

While I understand the basic concept of it, I'm looking for a guide that discusses the ins and outs of adsense. Does anyone know of any such resource. If it doesn't exist, I think that there is a lot of money to made in producing literature about it.

Online Camtasia is big right now for tutorials.

It's like looking over the shoulder of a experienced operator as you can watch exactly every move they make on their computer screen.

This makes learning easy.

Everything online seems to go in cycles, at present the big push is on Co-Registration lists.

If memory serves me right Co-Registration leads was the hot topic three or four years ago.

It does however indicate one thing and that is provided you can add a new twist or a simple update you can regurgitate a product time after time and often have as good as or better success than first time around.

Food for thought guys.

Wendy,

You are right, there is nothing new in marketing, be it online or off.

In the main most things have been tried and if proven successful then they return time and time again often with a new look or a fresh twist but the underlying product or service principally remains the same.

It should also be remembered that often old techniques are used to promote the latest products, why, well there is no need to reinvent the wheel, in the end it's all about presentation.

Look at some of the so called "Gurus" online today, most will tell you that they learnt their skills from the old masters, particulary those that were involved in mail order and the like many years ago.

Do a little research and you will learn a lot from these masters.

Just my two cents worth.

Cheers Wink

Live discussion and Marketing seminars are being heavily promoted at present.

Has anyone taken part in one of these and has the experience been worthwhile?

Here's another hot topic!

Seven dollars, yes $7.00 or $7 it doesn't matter how you say it or what you do with it $7 reports are everywhere!

A new strategy but also very smart and everyone has the opportunity to benefit.

Kevin kindly gave me the heads up on this, check it out here if you want to make some easy money and learn a few things as well.
