Hi All,
Does ezine / newsletter advertising still work?
What success or otherwise have you had?
What publications do you believe gives the best results?
Any experience that you could relate would be appreciated.
Cheers

I've tried ezine advertising - in other people's publications. I've tried small ads, sponsor ads, and solo ads. No results.
But, for me, that doesn't rule out the use of ezines as an advertising medium. I've found that I get great results from the articles that I submit to publishers. I've been very busy, but I have a goal to write and distribute one article per week when I get home from my trip.
I also do quite well with my own ezine - but I don't publish other people's ads. I publish three ads for affiliate programs that I am involved in.

I've just started. We'll see on the results.
It takes self-discipline or you might as well forget it.

I just started a new ezine for my doll classes. I think I have an idea of how to make it work. I am going to begin with a egular newsletter, and the have affilliate links to automatic shoping losts for thsoe items that are needed for the projects. I will ahve them for a variety fo comapnies so people can pick and choose which ones they want to deal with. HAve those updates as its specific to teh classes link back to class web pages. Boosk ae only available from lulu so I can gain a vantage point there.
what do you think? |

Jimmys Devoted,
An observation if I may...
What you intend to do is fine but could I suggest one thing.
Reading through your post I note numerous spelling mistakes and grammatical errors.
For an ezine to be successful it is important to ensure that you correct all of these errors prior to distribution, many people will fail to read more than a line or two if it is presented to them in this fashion.
Not everyone has a strong grasp of the english language but spell checkers and the like are freely available so it is wise to make good use of them.
Please understand that my comments are provided to assist you in achieving the best results in regards to your intentions and I wish you every success.
Cheers
