Hi there,

The XBOX 360... Is it any good? Does anyone have any feedback?

Should I wait for a playstation 3?

Andrew,

A friend of mine stood in the queue for a hour or two to purchase his XBox 360 when the doors opened at Midnight.

He had already arranged to take the following day off work to play with his new toy...

The following day after he called in sick, clearly he was having way to much fun to be thinking about work.

Unfortunately late that day his nice new toy fails, it is now in for repair...

He is not happy at present as I am sure you can understand.

So he can't really vouch for the XBox one way or another other than to say in the 48 hours it was working he loved it and said the graphics are awesome.

PS3 I believe is not due out until 2007?

While there are many merits to the xbox360, I am waiting for the playstation to come out. The new games on the xbox do look great, but I have to say that I am really a fan of playstation line.

I got my ps2 shortly after they came out, and I am really excited about the new technology that will be in the ps3. While I will have to wait a while, I am sure that it will be worth the wait.

Another thing about the playstation line that I like is that there are a number of series that have come out only for the playstation that I am really a fan of. Xbox has its own series no doubt, but outside of halo there aren't that many that have really tempted me to get an x-box (original or 360). So for now i will play on my PS2 and wait for the ps3 to come out.

I'm not sure but I thought I read somewhere that xBox is due to introduce an upgrade or a totally new model even.

Has anyone else heard anything?

I've heard nothing, but I can believe it - never buy the first edition of ANYTHING unless it's a book because you'll be the first ones to find out what's wrong with it!
