I'm looking for your recommendations and or experience, good or bad in regards to Genie Backup Manager Home Edition 6.0
You can read more about it here.. http://www.genie-soft.com
It's a fairly capable piece of software if you can believe the blurb.
Your feedback would be appreciated.
Cheers

Kevin,
Did you ever go with this BackUp software (Genie Soft)?
A friend of mine recently got a Western Digital external drive called the MyBook. Pretty slick but might be overkill for many unless one does alot of graphics, videos, music files, and other basics.
But if you have alot of websites that you need backed up an external drive is alot faster than a zip drive which I have been using. I know I have backups of my sites done on my server but I'd always like another backup on a different media. USB and Firewire connections make it ez to go from PC to PC at home or office.
It's at ==> http://www.westerndigital.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=221&language=en
This just the one I've looked at on the site. There are smaller and bigger sizes.
I'm gonna check this out after the holidays here in the U.S. My zip drives are no longer enough.

Hi Rick,
I have not got around to trying Genie Backup Manager yet, I have not come across any bad reports so I guess I have nothing to lose.
I appreciate your recommendation and will take a look at that as well.
Cheers
