Hi All,
Let's hear what you think will be the major events that occur within marketing in 2006.
In 2005 we had a huge growth in Blogs, Online Live Seminars, Article Directories and more....
So what will 2006 bring?
Will audio / podcasts become the next big thing?
Will Membership sites continue to flourish?
What do you think?
Cheers

Kevin,
I'm very new to all of this so any comments here would be helpful to me as I seek out the direction I would like to take.
One thing I have noticed though in recent times is the huge increase in advertising style offers similar to Adsense...could these options be all the rage in 2006?
Regards

Peter,
Good question...
My thoughts are this, Google has shown the way with Adsense, that is: They have developed a system whereby the average Joe website owner can gain revenue from his site providing he has a modicum of traffic.
Obviously others have wanted to mimic this success and thats why you see many others entering the market.
What you will see and continue to see is development of these type of ads to differentiate from others and hopefully gain a greater share of the advertising dollar.
Chitika is one that springs to mind...they have created some great new ad styles however time will tell if they are profitable or not.
Kontera is another form of advertising that shows promise and may very well be something to be considered.
A couple of others are Adbrite and Adsonar.
Let's see what develops as we move into 2006.
Cheers

From what I have been reading it would appear that Video is going to be "Big" in 2006.
Video emails in fact, Is this a way in which to get around some of the email delivery problems that many seem to have?
What do you think?

I think one of the hottest things this year will be VOIP. (Voice Over IP).

Steve,
I agree that VOIP may very well take the world by storm this year.
So how do you believe people will use it to generate revenue?
Cheers
