So as we come to the end of another year where we have experienced a real shift in online marketing techniques I felt it might be a good idea to canvas your marketing predictions for 2007.
Personally I see Video featuring more than ever, but Audio also seems to be an under-used medium as well.
I also believe we will see huge growth in Membership sites all very niche specific.
What do you think will be the next big thing?
Cheers

And here I am just learning how to Podcast.
I hope I haven't left my run to late...I'm not sure I'm ready to learn another skill (Video) when I have not mastered audio yet.
...Patience is needed I suppose.

Happy New Year Everyone!
I agree that Video is likely to be a force in 2007 if you can believe all the hype at present, whilst it is not a new media things like YouTube have brought it to the notice of everyone.
All I would like to know like hundreds of others for sure is how do you do this stuff, easily that is?
All this new technology seems so complicated.

Most digital movie recorders save the file in the .avi format. If your computer isn't setup to patch into your recorder, you can go to a camera shop and have the video transferred onto a CD for you.
Quentin Brown has software that is very reasonably priced that would make it easy to add video to your website. You can learn more about it here:
http://msincome.com/MSI_Video.html
For those interested in Audio only, see:
http://www.mp3soundstream.com
At QuickTime.com you can buy the publisher software ( $29.99) that will enable you to take a copy of the .avi file and save it as an mpeg4 so you can upload it to youtube.com. Using the software you can put a freeze frame in there of a graphic you create advertising your website.

PS
I'm not affiliated with any of these products. |

Thanks Steve,
The lead you provided for Quentins products look to be just what I need.
Often someone has already done the hard work and simplified the process for people like me but they can also be difficult to find online even after extensive searching.
Thanks for your help.

Wendy,
I can vouch for Steve's recommendation in regards to Quentin's products.
Quentin is a fellow Aussie and we have communicated back and forth several times... his products are first class and I can assure you that they will make the learning process simple.
Good Luck.
Cheers

| I agree. I think video is here to stay. With broadband quickly becoming the norm, video is easily accessible. The effectiveness of video is catching on quickly, and low costs and "viral" potential make video the top candidate for 2007's main marketing style. |

OK then...
Has anyone here produced a video yet?
If so what things can you share with us, what did you encounter that was difficult or you found hard to understand, or was it dead easy?
Maybe you have found some good online video resources that we can all benefit from?
Let's help one another!
Cheers
