Hi Guy's,
Blogs have really taken the world by storm so to speak...there are hundreds of new ones being launched every day.
Have you joined in on the experience yet?
Are you running a Blog?
What platform are you using and why, ie: MT, Wordpress, Blogger? etc
Is it a personal or business orientated Blog?
Are you seeking to earn income from it?, if so how?
Is your Blog in addition to a Website or Websites or is it your only online presence?
I would be interested in your comment...feel free to share your Blog URL's, here's mine: Kevin's Blog
Cheers

Hi kevin,
What platform are you using and why, ie: MT, Wordpress, Blogger?
I'm using Movable Type. The why is because Paul suggested it was one of the better ones. I like it.

It is mostly business related posts. I'm not really seeking to make an income directly from the blog itself. I have a feeling if one's posts are too commercial people will stop reading. The whole point of a blog is that it is supposed to be a journal of sorts. I think people have an interest in blogs because they are mainly informative.
Interesting to note as well that some employers and likely potential clients are turning to blogs to get an insight into the mindset of people they are considering working with.

It is an addition to my site... kind'a like a dumping ground for ramblings that don't fit any place else
Best Regards,

Blogs seem to have taken on a life of there own...the different uses they are being put to never ceases to amaze me.
It's definitely a great way to broadcast your message or service to the masses but my question is, what are you using your blog for, is it a promotional tool for a website or do you have other ideas?
I'm particularly interested in unusual ideas and there success.
Cheers

I just started my own blog at http://www.LizTomey.com
My blog will be about my adventures in Internet marketing. Or should I say misadventures... *lol* Having a blog has made me more focused. MUCH more focused. It's like I am accounting to everyone what I am doing almost on a daily basis. I think that encourages me to keep focused on one thing instead of bouncing here and there. Staying focused is a big key to success with a business.
I also use blogs to publish my ezines. It's so much quicker and easier. It allows me to syndicate my newsletter and automatically archives issues for me. Can't beat that...
I've started a new blog at my http://www.InternetMarketerHotorNot.com site. I'm wanting to make this a very interactive community. You can rate marketers, interact with them, and other members of the site. It's really cool. I'll be doing a lot of promotion for it once I get content on the blog. The blog will be nothing but product reviews! So the members get to rate the marketers and I get to rate their products.
Blogs can be used in SOO many ways. You just have to get creative. Kevin, don't you have a blog? You'd LOVE it!!
