As many of you know I am continually looking at new ways in which to build a list of subscribers...

My latest "test" is about to start but I need your help.

I'm seeking a source of "Traffic" , I want to purchase some traffic, approx 10,000 or 20,000 hits - It must be genuine redirected traffic not traffic created via pop ups or pop unders or the like.

I need the traffic to be "targeted" so it must come from sites that are in a similar vein to my site.

The traffic will be sent to a lead capture page...I intend to make three to four changes to the page dependant on the test results to maximise signups.

I do understand that purchasing traffic is a hit and miss affair but if anyone can anyone point me to a reliable source I would be pleased to hear from you.

Cheers Wink

Kevin,

Is the profile of the traffic you are looking for are people who are building their own web sites for their businesses? Do you have other criteria?

I'll keep my eyes open for what you are looking for. Rolling Eyes

Hi Steve,

The list building trials that I do all relate to my main newsletter... http://www.eBF-News.com

Obviously visitors can sign up direct on a number of sites I have but for the purpose of my trials and tests of different methods I send visitors to a special lead generation page I have made.

The profile of the type of people I am looking for currently are those that have an interest in Internet Marketing, Home Based Business area.

I have found one source that may offer some potential so I am about to begin a test shortly.

However I must reiterate that the best way to generate new leads is to do it yourself...the main purpose of my tests are to see if other options exist that are cost effective and do these leads offer a real return on investment.

Cheers Wink

Hi Kevin,

I did a stack of reseach & testing (and spending) on this exact subject about two years ago.

1. The traffic sites which send you a so called "targeted traffic" in bundled packages are a complete waiste of money.

Most of them use "paid sign up/hits" programs to get their traffic.

From memory I tried about 5 of these type of sites with liitle effect and or ROI.

2. Adsense & ppc's worke out to expensive, especially "overture"

3. Ezines can be good but get better results for paid goods rather than ezines.

By far the best I found was co-registration services. Some rubbish but overall good subscribers.

The best of these I found were -

http://www.web-traffic-toolz.com/list_builder.html
http://www.web-traffic-toolz.com/list_opt.html

Another thing to do is whiz over to

http://www.web-traffic-toolz.com/prweb.html

and write up a short and concise press release (they have a good tutorial) and send it off, all for free.

Depending on your writing skills you can pull in a few hundred new subscribers with one release.

Article distribution is another good one but if you don't want to pay a hefty software fee such as "articleannouncer" use the following site, they supply both a free or paid service.

http://www.web-traffic-toolz.com/article_marketer.html

You should get good results with both, publish the article with a snappy heading is the main thing.

Lastly, I looked up "ebusiness" on nichebot. The keyword "complete ebusiness solutions" gets 50 hits a day but the comp count is only "11".

Throw up your nesletter promo on this page and optimize for the above keyword. Being that your site is established you should get first page ranking pretty quick across the major SE's.

To make sure, throw up a post on "how to forum" just to create one back link or on another one of your sites.

Even better, throw it up here (don't worry that about the rss, it's my site Smile) -
http://rss-feeds-directory.com/directory/Reference/Reference.html

On that page you'll get a backlink from a "3 page rank" page and you've basically got the whole page to yourself.

Cheers, Chris

I find Traffic Oasis to work well for my online business. They do vary in price depending on your lead package but the results are there.
