I think being both a buyer and a seller can give you valuable insight on how to improve yourself as a seller. I know as a buyer I like thorough descriptions, good pictures, and reasonable shipping costs. So when I do sell things on eBay I try to hit all of those things.

Much has been written over time as to the best way you can benefit from eBay.

Like many things though this is an ever changing thing, our interest is prompted in many ways, you only have to look at TV advertising. Manufacturers are constantly changing the way in which they promote their products to you, they may run a campaign for a month and then switch to something different, why?

The answer is simple really, we become immune to the promotion, we have seen it a time or two and then after that it loses it's effect so change becomes necessary to trigger your interest again.

Promoting anything on eBay is the same, you need to change the look and feel of your ads regularly even if you are selling totally different products each time, those that use templates and just fill in the gaps are missing out big time in regards to their potential market.

Change is good.

Just my two cents.

Cheers Wink
