Ebay tells you not to directly sign in to your account to read messages,etc through emails you receive in case they are a fraud. That makes sense. However, I know someone who has an ebay business and somehow someone got into their account through a message that they sent to my friends through their message center. My friends had directly opened the message from their Ebay account and still has a problem.

Well, I guess you can never tell or predict when and how you're going to get hacked but it is important to try to follow what eBay tells you is the best way to keep your account secure.
