Down here in Aussie many people lined up at MIDNIGHT to get their hands on a copy of Vista the day before the official launch, I didn't think that so many people were Windows fans, maybe I was wrong!

Anyway I am interested to hear from anyone that has taken the plunge and purchased the new "Windows Vista"

What are your thoughts in regards to it's ease of use, value for money etc?

I haven't purchased Vista and most likely won't as I don't see the need as XP does most things for me.

PC Mag has done a good review that is worth reading to get their opinion and those of others.

Windows is by far the most popular operating system here in America. I my self enjoy the Windows operating system, but I think Vista has far to many flaws and bugs. I'm not going to upgrade to Vista for another year probably when all of the kinks are worked out.

I have used Vista, I really like the new interface and usability. It reminds me very much of Mac's OS X though, I think Windows Vista should have pioneered some new ideas rather than borrowing them from other operating systems.

All in all, it's quite alright for an operating system.

I tested it out while it was in Beta, it wasn't that bad, but the problems it has was very noticeable. The biggest one I had was with my wireless internet, it would only stay connected for so long, i had to disconnect and reconnect constantly. Besides that, the only other thing was software issues.
